Diptyque joins forces with (RED)
In the spirit of the recent festivities, Diptyque is beginning the year in a charitable state of mind with the launch of Diptyque RED, a limited edition candle created in partnership with (RED). (RED) is a programme administered by Global Fund to help fight AIDS in Africa. For each candle sold 4 Euros will be donated to help Global Fund provide life-saving medication to those living with HIV in Africa. A great excuse to treat yourself to one of these beautiful candles, which will only be available for a limited amount of time, and to donate to a worthy cause.
The candle is a combination of Indian Vanilla, Madagascar Vanilla and Rooibos (a red bush tea, which will reinforce the rum and leather facet whilst giving a soft floral note of rose). The packaging evokes the colourful wax print fabric, which is a unique African technique consisting of the application of wax on both sides of the fabric before tinting; meaning that each pattern delivers an individual message.
