The Liberty Renaissance Countdown Begins
In just 1 day Liberty will unveil our much-anticipated Renaissance – an inspirational renewal from the ground floor to the top. Our muchloved store has been the subject of a creative rethink, bringing alive the grand yet quirky artistic energies that have been unique to us since the beginning. As we begin the countdown to the reveal on Valentine’s Day we take you behind the scenes.
So what are the main changes going to be?
Liberty is putting a new twist on an old tradition with the return of the Scarf Hall, currently the Jewellery room, offering the most extensive range of scarves in London. Scarves from established brands such as Givenchy, Pucci, Fendi and Dries Van Noten will sit alongside new exclusive lines from Josh Goot, David Szeto and Wolf & Decourtis. Our very own iconic Liberty of London scarves will obviously be a highlight of the room.
One of the key changes will see our Womenswear collections spread to two floors, bringing a new focus to the Liberty buy. The International, Avant Garde, Essentials and Contemporary Rooms will offer a more edited selection of the key pieces from the designer’s collection that season. New brands to Liberty include Balmain, Aquascutum, Josh Goot and Cacharel.
Gift, Carpets and Habadashery have all moved too, to the Third Floor and there will be another new addition to the Ground Floor – The Bazaar – more details to follow. Stay tuned for updates as the countdown begins.
We will give a full report with photos of the new rooms from Valentines Day, on the run-up to the 14th we’ll be seeing how the Renaissance took shape, meet the driving force behind the changes and the buyers who bought in the new collections.
To celebrate Renaissance we are holding a competition to win a Luxury Safari in Kenya, for more details click here
Keep watching this space!

Really looking forward to the changes!!
