The Renaissance Uncovered – The Bazaar
The Liberty Renaissance was officially opened by the beautiful Freida Pinto last weekend and we all are all very excited about our new look. The ground floor especially has undergone a dramatic transformation. The gift room in the East Atrium is now the Bazaar, filled with an abundance of beautiful pieces, ranging from scarves and purses to bracelets and sunglasses. The Chocolate shop is now even more delectable and of course Frederic Malle and our exclusive Le Labo counter are still one of the best features of the room.
Yasmin Sewell, our muse for the Renaissance said that she wanted the Bazaar to be a reminder of the store’s origins when the buyers scoured the world to bring back unusual, rare and precious items. The pieces in the room are very eclectic and many of them are limited edition so you know that you are getting something a bit different.
The look of the room is that of a traditional bazaar, tables with intricate wooden mosaic inlay are laden with goods, brands such as Carlos Falchi and Nymphenburg. They sit side by side with Retrosuperfuture sunglasses Muhlbauer flat caps. The room is dotted with traditional footstools and guides to every city in the world.
