*SCARF OF THE WEEK*
This week we’re featuring the ‘Joshua Stripe Scarf’ by Faliero Sarti. The scarf is a soft 85% modal and 15% silk, with dimensions of 110cm x 190cm, and has a subtle sheer stripe.
Specialising in the production of Haute Couture and Prêt a Porter fabric, Faliero Sarti is an Italian textile company established over half a century ago. Every year the mill produces fabrics using the most valuable fibers of natural origin, such as wool, cashmere, angora, silk, linen and also the most sophisticated between the ones of industrial origin such as new generation’s microfibers of polyamide, polyester and viscose.
This Sarti scarf is a great summer option, the size and comfort of it allows you to use it as another layer rather than just an accessory. Drape it round your shoulders and see it as an alternative to a light a cardigan – perfect for a breezy summer evening.
Wearing blocks of colour is an essential summer look. So, go all out, and contrast it with deep oranges or reds, don’t be afraid to let the colours clash – be brave! If you’re wearing all that colour it might be a good idea to add a cool pair of shades.
