Helmut Lang

Austrian born designer, Helmut Lang is known for his simple, elegant and urban designs that combine deconstruction with pared down, classic cuts. Having created his label in 1986, he left in 2005 to focus on art projects. The brand was then re-launched under the creative direction of Habitual co-founders, Michael and Nicole Colovos.

Heralded for his iconic minimalism Lang inspired a whole generation of new designers, including popular Belgian designers Dries van Noten and Dirk Bikkembergs.
