The new International Room has a quintessentially English Gentleman’s club feel in a modern environment. Murdock barber’s are the first point of discovery where classic services such as wet shaves are given a contemporary twist in chairs dropped in straight from Sweeney Todd.
This room is anchored by key brands such as Lanvin, Paul Smith London, Jil Sander which new from AW has been received well already and Hart the capsule collection from bespoke tailor Nick Hart which is exclusive to Liberty for AW08. Liberty of London men’s AW collection has classic prints updated with arresting insects scattered over shirts, ties and handkerchiefs. This new breed of classically inclined labels is helping make conservative cool again, these designers do not so much reinvent classic pieces but rather render them how they should have been crafted in the first place!
Arriving imminently in the International Room is Spencer Hart with a shop in shop that will offer a full range of ready to wear as well as the Spencer Hart Bespoke Service which will be exclusive to Liberty.
