Liberty Fabric Quilt Competition: Winners Announced
- Winner – Susan DeGarmo - £500 Gift Voucher
- Runner up – Bridget Honour - £50 Gift Voucher
- Runner up – Sue Burton - £50 Gift Voucher
Liberty and Selvedge are hosting a joint competition for readers to create a quilt using only Liberty fabrics. An experienced judging panel will select a winning entry to be displayed in the London store and the maker will receive a £500 Liberty gift card. The winner will be announced online on 10th May, www.liberty.co.uk/selvedge. Entries must be no larger than 180x180cm please email a digital image to competition@liberty.co.uk by 30th April. A shortlist will be drawn up from digital entries before actual quilts are sent.

An established patchwork tutor who teaches as part of the Liberty and Rowan workshop programmes and throughout the country Janet Goddard will host a 'How To Quilt' class for Selvedge readers. Selvedge Evening Lecture - Thursday 8th April 2010
Join Selvedge at Liberty for a talk hosted by Becky Oldfield founder of Lost and Found, a company that marries quilting techniques, vintage fabrics and contemporary design to create original products. After Becky’s talk the store will be open until 9pm for those who are wishing to do some late night shopping using their discount.
