Calico butter dish from the Burleigh collection.

Earthenware butter dishfeaturing a crisp white interior which contrasts with the deep blue cobalt of Burleigh's Calico design.

Traditional techniques meet contemporary country-house style with Burleigh earthenware. Each piece is made in their Victorian pottery in Stoke-on-Trent, with clay from Devon and Cornwall. Their distinctive designs are applied by hand using underglaze transfer printing, a now-rare, 250-year-old process. No wonder, then, that the Burleigh name is synonymous worldwide with English heritage, craftsmanship and quality.
